Actress Lily Collins, widely known for her role as Collins in the touching football themed drama, The Blind Side, and Sam Borgens in the romantic drama, Stuck In Love, has (finally!) landed a new role.
She will be appearing in the upcoming dark comedy, To The Bone, written by Marti Noxon. Collins took to Instagram just days after her 27th birthday to announce her excitement about the upcoming film.
She posted a picture of her script with the caption: “I’m incredibly honored to be part of such a powerful story of love, self-doubt, and the courage it takes to fight for survival. I believe this film has the potential to shine a light on something that’s becoming more prevalent within our society every day and let those suffering from eating disorders know they’re not alone.”
Fans of the actress have been reeling about the anorexia based movie due to the fact that Collins has been on a film hiatus since the release of her last movie in 2014, Love, Rosie. Throughout her time off, Collins has been busy posting away on Instagram and rarely goes a day without sending words of encouragement and self love to her loyal and lovely fans.
Recently, these same caring fans have continued to question Collins as to why she has drastically changed her appearance. Collins has lost a noticeable amount of weight, but not to fear! This change is for her upcoming movie and any rumors have finally been put to rest thanks to her addressing the new project. Collins seems to be on track for another well deserved, successful film.
It was also recently announced that Collins is set to appear in the 2016 drama, Untitled Warren Beatty Project. Two upcoming roles within a year is great news for Lily Collins and her fans, and we hope to see even more of her within the next few months.
